Prologue, Osaka, Japan, 1966
Rain pours over a small noodle shop in a derelict part of the city. Inside, a woman sits at the bar with her head in her hands . There is a man opposite to her, tending to a pot of noodles. The woman sighs. This prompts a reaction from the man.
“My love, is everything alright?” He asks, turning to face the woman, with a smile. The woman shakes her head.
“Tenshi, you know very well everything is not alright. We cannot afford to keep our shop open for much longer,” The woman worries, “Plus...” She looks down. Confused, the man repeats her.

Ethan took a look at his pocket watch. Ten to three in the afternoon. Where was the older man? Perhaps he missed him this morning. He fiddled with the suitcase he brought with him and looked around again. The Train Station was large and well kept. Magnificent columns lined both sides of the station. The tile was marble, and the benches that sprouted up here and there were made of fine woods. A large four sided board stood in the center of the station, with schedules of arriving and departing trains flickering in and out. There was a news stand in the corner, and a food vender near the entrance. People lined the platforms and conversed among
Rain fell on Junktown as Mr. Mugsworth's car pulled up. The town itself was named appropriately, it was made mostly of scrap metal and bits of various other materials that were left behind after the restructuring. Mugsworth came on orders, elsewise he never would have gone to begin with. No, Mugsworth was the kind of guy that lived in a fancy house near other people with fancy houses; he would never be caught near this dilapidated part of town. Nonetheless, he sighed, smoothed his hair back and donned his bowler hat as the driver came to open the door, umbrella in hand.

I'm still writing! Though as expected none of the stuff I'm writing is getting finished, hahaha.
